Loons have often inspired fascination with their graceful beauty and haunting cry. Join us as Charlotte Cox shares the final project of her late husband, Larry Cox, whose detailed naturalist notes on the behaviors of loons create a beautiful story. Charlotte will share several of the book’s many unusual and humorous anecdotes about the author’s personal encounters with loons. The volume features a special Foreword by The Loon Center’s Executive Director Harry S. Vogel, as well as an abundance of both full-color and black-and-white photos of local New Hampshire loons by Laconia photographer John Gill and Hollis photographer Wendy Richardson. |
