Ticketed event Tickets are available through the Capitol Center for the Arts.

New York Times best-selling author Jodi Picoult joins us again on the Main Stage of the Capitol Center for the Arts on the final stop of her Lone Wolf book tour. We are fortunate to have Jodi as a friend of the store, and are excited to have this opportunity for fans to meet this mega-star. Her reading and Q&A will be followed by a book-signing. To help pay for the use of the larger venue, this will be a ticketed event.
Tickets will be $31.50, which includes a copy of Lone Wolf ($9 for the venue, $22.50 for the book at 20% off the cover price). Because of the large crowd expected: Please remember that if the signing-line is 300 people long, and Jodi takes even one minute to greet each fan, sign their books, and chat, then it will take her 300 minutes (5 hours!) to get through the line, and the person at the back of the line will have very sore feet. To pose for a picture adds even more time. To make sure the most people get to meet Jodi and have their books signed, we (and the publisher) have the following rules in place: Jodi will personalize all purchased copies of Lone Wolf, and sign one of her previous titles, without personalization. Photos are permitted, but to keep the line moving they will not be posed. Please have your cell phone or camera ready to hand to our staff, so we can take your picture in front of the table as Jodi signs your books. |

Howard Frank Mosher, a beloved American novelist and winner of the 2011 New England Independent Booksellers Association's President's Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts, returns with a memoir that is both a chronicle of his recent 100-city book tour across America and a reflection on his development as a writer. Mr. Mosher will be at Gibson's Bookstore for a reading and signing on Thursday April 19th, 2012, at 7 p.m. Enjoy this slideshow, from his cross-country trip.
