Gibson's Book Club is also reading The Girl Who Drank the Moon, by Kelly Barnhill. This Winner of the 2017 Newbery Medal, tells the story of a girl named Luna who, after being raised by a witch named Xan, must figure out how to handle the magical powers she was accidentally given. She must control her powers before it's too late.
