About the authors: Maggie Thrash is the author of the critically acclaimed graphic memoirs Honor Girl (a Los Angeles Times Book Prize nominee) and Lost Soul, Be At Peace, as well as two novels for young adults. Rainbow Black is her adult debut. Born and raised in Atlanta, she lives in New Hampshire.

Margot Douaihy lives in Northampton, MA, and is an assistant professor at Emerson College. She is the author of the queer crime novel Scorched Grace (Gillian Flynn Books), which was named a best book of 2023 by Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, BookPage, Marie Claire, and Laura Wilson (The Guardian). Blessed Water, the second novel in the Sister Holiday Mystery series, debuts March 12, 2024. Margot also won the Best Author of 2023 award from Boston Magazine.
